I was born in Wichita Kansas and started singing at 3 years old. My Father was a singing musician who happened to be an Evangelist and my mother sang in the choir so singing gospel music was a pretty important factor in my household. At the age of 11, I got my first experience in the recording business with the National C.O.G.I.C Sunshine Band, which did a live recording in 1992 under the leadership of Dr. Iris Stevenson. At the age of 21, I moved to Dallas with a desire to become a gospel recording artist. I had no idea the plans that God had for me but I decided to move in faith and over a time span of 18 years, he allowed me to share the stage with John P. Kee, Kim Burrell, Vickie Winans, Fred Hammond, Dorinda Clark-Cole, David and Tamela Mann, Marvin Sapp and many more. I was graced with the opportunity to appear on live national platforms, “The Word Network Church” w/Lexi Show” and “Rejoice In The Word” w/ Bishop George Bloomer. My dream of having my own debut album was nationally released through digital distribution in October of 2013. I then had the opportunity to get into acting and appeared in several stage plays and shared the stage with Tommy Ford (Martin Lawrence Show), Terri J Vaugh (Steve Harvey Show & Tyler Perry’s Meet the Browns) and many others. I could not have done any of this without the management and support of my loving husband, Pastor Lewis Hemphill Jr. We were married in 2004 and through our 16 years of marriage, he has been by my side every step of the way.
